Yankees will have names on the back of their jerseys for the first time

The Yankees have a longstanding tradition of not having names on the back of their jerseys. But due to a special event in baseball, that’s going to change.

MLB announced Wednesday that from Aug. 25-27 it will be celebrating Players Weekend. What NBA Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping does that mean? It means players get to have creative names on the back of their jerseys, such as nicknames or anything creative they want.

After retiring Tim Anderson, Stroman and the White Sox shortstop got into a bit of a staredown, which, on the baseball diamond, means both teams ran out onto the field, players were held back, and, as is the case in virtually every benches-clearing incident, no punches were thrown.

During the postgame, Anderson expressed his feelings of Stroman, saying, “He’s going to try to throw me off, so why not step out and try to throw him off? It was one of those things I stepped out and he just complains and cries like he always does. That’s what it led to.”

Stroman has been at the center of a few recent Blue Jays beefs, having been ejected from his NFL 21 Cheap Jerseys past start for arguing balls and strikes with home plate umpire Will Little (catcher Russell Martin and manager John Gibbons were also ejected). The Blue Jays will play the White Sox again on Wednesday (2:10 p.m. ET) in the rubber game of their series.

Thinking outside the box, a buzzer system could be put in place to let the umpire know when a pitch is a ball and when it is a strike. Or maybe a handheld device that lights up, or even has a screen that simply says “ball” or “strike” after each pitch. There are myriad of ways to figure that part out, and the delay would almost certainly be nominal.
