Seahawks sign QB Austin Davis over Colin Kaepernick

The Seattle Seahawks have signed a quarterback, and it’s not Colin Kaepernick. Monday, the team announced that it signed former Rams, Browns, and Broncos quarterback Austin Davis.

Davis has just 10 career starts, going 3-7 in those games with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Davis had visited the Seahawks on May 24, just as Kaepernick did.

“A decision was made to further evaluate his condition and to recertify his health moving forward,” the source said, via Anderson.

His Saints teammates have not heard from Fairley regarding the reason for his absence from OTAs, according to Hale.

The Lions selected Fairley in the first round of the 2011 draft, and he spent the first four seasons of his career in Detroit. After one year with the Rams, he signed with the Saints prior to the 2016 season.

Fairley had a career-best 6.5 sacks last season and contributed 43 combined tackles. He signed a four-year, $28 million contract extension with New Orleans this offseason.

Kaepernick has stayed busy with charitable work during his time away from an NFL roster, with his total donations now totaling $700,000. In May, many fans gathered outside of the NFL’s New York headquarters to hold a rally in support of the quarterback.

Others have attempted to explain why Kaepernick Cheap Game Jerseys hasn’t yet been Cheap Jarome Iginla Jerseys signed, but the backlash that any franchise will get for signing him is almost definitely the reason he’s still on the market.

But if Kaepernick’s Instagram is any indication, the quarterback will also bring a lot of fans and support to his next team.
